PRETTY POPS DINING EXPERIENCE – KIDS’ I AM BLACK HISTORY BRUNCH

The I AM Black History awards aim to honor five youth, aged 5-17, residing in Henry and Clayton County, who have exhibited outstanding community involvement, excellence in the arts, and commendable academic achievements.

Award Criteria:

Recipients must meet the following criteria:

  1. Exemplary Academic Achievement: Demonstrated by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  2. Outstanding Community Involvement: Evidenced by exceptional volunteer work and dedicated community service.
  3. Excellence in the Arts: Displayed through substantial contributions to the arts community on a broad scale.

Selection of Award Winners:

Our Community Judges’ Panel, comprised of individuals with expertise in the relevant fields, will serve as the adjudicators for these awards.

To nominate a child, kindly share one or more specific instances illustrating when the nominee demonstrated exceptional academic accomplishments, remarkable community engagement, and/or excellence in the arts. Please provide detailed information in up to two paragraphs.

Rules of Entry
1. To participate, complete this nomination form with your name, email, phone number and submit it online.
2. To nominate a child, the form above, kindly share one or more specific instances illustrating when the nominee demonstrated exceptional academic accomplishments, remarkable community engagement, and/or excellence in the arts. Please provide detailed information in up to two paragraphs.
3. The voting will be conducted by February 14, 2024. Winners will be announced at the Awards Brunch on February 24, 2024.
4. Nominees must be aged 5-17 to be honored.
